Team Aquila
Built like a team, launched like a drop.
What was
broken.
Team Aquila is a school team: young players, serious ambition, and visuals stitched together from free templates. School management, parents, and sponsors notice that gap before they notice anything else.
Launch was weeks out with no identity, no kit graphics, and no broadcast assets, right before the inter-school season. Everything had to land at once or not at all.
What we
did about it.
Build a complete identity the students are proud to wear, then launch it like a streetwear drop: teasers, reveals, motion everywhere, jerseys ready day one.
A crest with teeth
The mark had to work embroidered, on screen, and spray-painted by fans. We tested it at 16 pixels and six feet before committing.
Motion from day one
Stings, transitions, and announcement templates shipped with the identity. The school stream looked broadcast-grade from the first match.
Merch as marketing
The first jersey run was designed alongside the brand, so launch week put the crest on players, not just screens.
- 01Identity
Team identity & crest
A crest tested at 16 pixels and at six feet before it was locked, so it works embroidered on a jersey and spray-painted by fans in a corridor.
- 02Print
Kit & merchandise graphics
The first jersey run designed alongside the brand, so launch week put the crest on players rather than only on screens. Fronts, backs and sleeves specified for the manufacturer.
- 03Motion
Broadcast motion package
Stings, transitions and announcement templates shipped with the identity, so the school stream looked broadcast-grade from the first match rather than after a season of learning.
- 043D
3D announcement assets
Announcement pieces rendered in 3D for the roster reveals and match-day hype, because esports lives on clips and a static brand would have been invisible where it matters.
Identity
Drawn against real applications at both ends of the scale, so the mark holds embroidered and at sixteen pixels without needing two versions.
- Explored against real applications, not a slide
- Tested at the smallest and largest sizes it will be used
- Typography and colour chosen for accessibility and print
- A written system your team can extend

One system laid out across every format the business actually prints, so nothing has to be redesigned each time something ships.
- One system across every format you print
- Templates so staff can produce it themselves
- Print-ready artwork, not screen exports
- No hidden production surprises

Motion
Motion rules taken from the identity rather than invented alongside it, so the brand extends instead of restarting.
- Motion rules taken from the identity itself
- Editable templates left with your team
- Planned into the original shoot
- Delivered at every required aspect ratio

3D
Rendered from production files rather than composited mockups, so the imagery stays consistent as the product changes.

Asked
often.
Why did motion come first here?
Esports lives on broadcast and clips. Static-only branding would have been invisible where it matters.
Can students run the announcements themselves?
Yes. The student media team runs rosters, scores, and match graphics from templates.
What about sponsors?
The identity includes lockup rules, so sponsor marks sit cleanly on kit and stream.
